Trump, Cao & Wittman won Northumberland County
Unfortunately this was not quite enough to carry our team statewide.
This election saw near record turnout in Northumberland County with 8,263 voters speaking out. While that is significant, it is only 77% of registered voters.
Further Results:
President; 52% of the votes for President were cast in “Early Voting”, with President Elect Trump garnering 58.9% of those early votes cast, and 59.9% of votes cast by all manner.
U.S. Senate; Similarly, Hung Cao fared quite well in our area, outpacing the incumbent by a 20+% point difference.
1st District Congress; Once again Rob Wittman vanquished his opponent not only in Northumberland (by over 30%!) but regaining his seat by a 61,000 vote margin!
